Fantastic Bottled Water Fundraising Opportunity.

Fundraise with a popular and healthy product with a huge profit potential!

Aquaplus has put together a fantastic fundraising package especially designed for New Zealand fundraising groups who want to raise funds while providing their community with a popular and healthy product.

The programme involves selling your own brand of pure New Zealand bottled spring water in your local area. This can be undertaken as a short-sharp campaign, or on an ongoing basis.

Bottles can be made from our new Aquaplus EcoBottle so your fundraising group can be fundraising in a more environmentally sustainable way.

Why sell bottled water as a fundraiser?

1. A healthy and popular product
2. Custom branded to your group - increases the profile of your group
3. An ongoing source of funds
4. Easy to organise and administer
5. Ability to stock your local outlets with your brand of water
6. Great profit margins

According to the Ministry of Healths 2002 National Childrens Nutrition Survey, about one-quarter of the sugar in New Zealand children’s daily diets comes from beverages such as fizzy drinks. Here is a practical way of reducing that, while also benefiting your groupl by raising funds at the same time.

With this fundraising programme, your group is doing more than just simply providing healthier options, you are actively encouraging the local community to choose them, and in turn lead healthier lives...a great value for any group to uphold.

How much money can you make?

Not surprisingly it will depend on the amount of water you can sell.

This can be influenced by how many fundraisers your have access to and how you set up your campaign.

It is a good idea to look at this project as an ongoing campaign, therefore we can look at your total projected volume over a prolonged period of around 12 months.

A typical profit per bottle is somewhere around the $1.00 mark. Please call us to discuss how we can make your fundraising as profitabel as we can.

Here's how the bottled water fundraising programme works.

1. The goal and how we're going to get there

Your fundraising coordinator and an Aquaplus fundraising representative establish your fundraising goals and plot a path to reach them . This takes into consideration your available human resources, your location, your timeframe, and your expectations. We can start with a basic template and personalise this to each group, or you can tell us how you want to do things!

We provide: Practical and realistic ideas and expertise in helping you plan your fundraising campaign.

2. Pre campaign awareness and label design

Prior to the campaign, your group could hold a 'label design competition'. The members of your group task is to create a label for the bottled water that the group will be selling. This helps raises awareness of the up-coming campaign. And sets the campaign up with a label design for the bottles.

3. Setting up the campaign

This stage involves: Placing an order for the number of bottles you require, sending letters to key retain outles in your community and local newspapers, introducing the campaign to the group, receiving your order, distributing the water bottles (in cases) to your members, placing posters around the community and local sales area.

4. During the campaign

Creating as much hype and awareness as possible to get the most out of your campaign!

We provide: Quick response should you require more stock urgently.

5. End of the campaign

This is where you collect in and account for the money that has been raised. Unsold stock can then be sold after the initial campaign has ended (e.g. in a school tuck shop,, in local shops, to sports teams etc)
